IT Support for Schools and Nonprofits

MackTechs provides technology support for schools, educational programs, and nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia area. Device fleet management, bulk repairs, staff IT support, and consulting at rates that respect your budget.
What We Offer Schools and Nonprofits
- Device fleet management — We manage iPad, Chromebook, and laptop fleets for schools and programs. Deployment, configuration, MDM enrollment, and ongoing maintenance. Whether you have 20 devices or 200, we keep them running.
- Bulk device repair — Cracked iPad screens, broken Chromebook keyboards, dead laptop batteries. We repair devices in bulk at discounted rates so your program does not have to replace a $400 iPad every time a student drops one.
- Staff IT support — Help desk for teachers, administrators, and program staff. Email issues, login problems, printer troubleshooting, and software support. Your staff calls us instead of spending their day trying to fix technology.
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 — We manage your education accounts, set up staff email, configure shared drives, and handle user onboarding and offboarding as staff changes.
- Network and Wi-Fi support — Classroom connectivity, access point placement, guest networks, and content filtering. We make sure students and staff can connect reliably.
- IT consulting — Grant-funded technology purchases, device refresh planning, infrastructure upgrades. We help you make smart technology decisions that stretch your budget.
Who We Work With
- Charter schools and private schools — Schools that do not have a district IT department and need external support
- After-school and tutoring programs — Organizations with shared device carts and limited IT budgets
- Nonprofits — Community organizations, social services, and advocacy groups that need reliable technology without enterprise pricing
- Houses of worship — Churches, synagogues, and mosques with small staff and volunteer-managed technology
- Summer programs and camps — Seasonal technology needs including device setup, network access, and check-in systems
Budget-Friendly IT
We understand that schools and nonprofits operate on tight budgets. Our pricing reflects that:
- Bulk repair discounts — The more devices you bring in, the lower the per-device cost. We regularly repair batches of 10 to 50 iPads for schools at volume pricing.
- Flexible engagement — You do not need a monthly contract. We offer project-based work (summer device refresh, annual setup) alongside ongoing monthly support.
- Nonprofit rates — We offer reduced rates for registered nonprofits and educational organizations. Ask us about nonprofit pricing during your consultation.
- Grant-compatible — We provide detailed invoicing and documentation that works with E-Rate, Title I, and other education funding sources.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does bulk iPad repair cost?
Pricing depends on the model and number of devices. Volume discounts start at 5 or more devices. Contact us with your model numbers and quantities for a custom quote.
Can you set up devices for the start of the school year?
Yes. We do seasonal device deployments including imaging, MDM enrollment, app installation, case and screen protector installation, and distribution labeling. Plan ahead and contact us in the spring or early summer for fall deployments.
Do you offer ongoing support or just project work?
Both. Some schools use us for one-time projects like summer device refreshes. Others keep us on a monthly plan for ongoing help desk, device management, and staff support. We are flexible.
Can you work with our existing IT setup?
Yes. Whether you use Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Apple School Manager, Jamf, Mosyle, or something else, we can work with your existing systems. We do not force you to switch platforms.
