Our Story
MackTechs started in 2014 as "Manayunk iPhone Repair" — a small operation on Main Street focused on one thing: fixing cracked iPhone screens, done right, while you wait.
Over the years, customers kept bringing us more. iPads, MacBooks, Samsung phones, game consoles. We kept learning, kept investing in better tools and training, and kept saying yes. Eventually the name didn't fit anymore, so we became MackTechs.
What hasn't changed is the approach. We use premium and OEM-quality parts. We diagnose for free. We stand behind every repair with a 1-year warranty. And we treat every device like it's our own — because we know how much your stuff matters to you.
How We Got Here
2014 — Manayunk iPhone Repair Opens
Started on Main Street in Manayunk with a focus on iPhone screen repair. Walk-in, same-day service from day one.
2016 — Expanded to iPad & Mac Repair
Customers needed more, so we invested in microsoldering equipment and started tackling logic board repairs, Mac diagnostics, and iPad work.
2019 — Samsung, Pixel & Game Consoles Added
Added Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and game console repair. If it has a screen and a battery, we probably fix it.
2021 — Rebranded to MackTechs
The name caught up with what we'd become — a full-service device repair and tech shop serving Philadelphia and beyond.

10+ years of hands-on experience in device repair. Matt has personally repaired thousands of iPhones, MacBooks, and everything in between. He still works the bench every day — because that's the part he likes best.
